MYOB BUSINESS APPLICATIONS AND TRAINING
CUSTOMISING MYOB FOR BUSINESS APPLICATIONSWe have, since 1981; developed customized Windows based Financial Accounting Systems used by our Clients for retail, wholesale, manufacturing and service applications across a variety of Industries. We also provide a range of software related services to small and medium enterprises. Given our expertise in Customized Accounting Systems we are frequently required by Clients to customize various versions of MYOB Accounting Systems to conform to their operating requirements. Customizing MYOB does not require any additional software and involves setting up or organizing the system defaults in MYOB for our Clients Customers, Suppliers, Items and Ledger Accounts to correspond to their business transactions. Our objective is to simplify data entry and to ensure that the Reports generated by MYOB provide the Client with a detailed and accurate overview of their Business. Customizing MYOB ensures that the system works as it is supposed to and that the Client can use MYOB Reports to take business decisions with a degree of confidence. MYOB is not just a bookkeeping system and once customized MYOB can make a valuable contribution to the efficient management of any business by indicating those areas of the business, which need attention. We provide training for Clients staff and prepare detailed operating manuals for each Customized System. We charge $165 (including GST) to customize systems. The cost of the operating manuals is included in our charges for staff training. Our experience indicates that 85 percent of the time Clients use MYOB: a. to generate sales quotations, orders and invoices b. to record purchase quotes, orders and bills and c. to record credit/debit adjustments and payments for Customer and Supplier transactions. These functions do not require any particular expertise and we provide a variety of 6 to 12 hour intensive training courses ranging from $450 to $650 per person (discounts are available if we are to train 2 or more people) at the end of which any employee in the sales or purchase who can type, will be able to use the MYOB sales and purchase functions . We have developed a daily/weekly sales, purchase, receipts and payments reconciliation system within MYOB which, if followed can be used to eliminate errors and omissions in data entry. We also provide reconciliation systems and manuals for all MYOB functions, which enable owners and management to monitor bookkeeping functions. MYOB AND EXCELAll MYOB Reports and Ledger Account transactions can be exported to Excel Spreadsheets. Excel is perhaps the best financial software ever devised and has virtually unlimited applications. It is ideal for the presentation and analysis of the data in MYOB Reports and Ledger Accounts. We have developed Excel Applications specifically for MYOB. These applications can combine any number of MYOB Reports and Ledger Accounts in Excel Spreadsheets to provide, organize, compare and analyze financial and statistical information to meet the requirements of any given business in an easily understood format. Applications include; pricing, margins, profitability, budgeting, productivity, wastage, cash flow, cash flow management, inventory management, management of Debtors and Creditors Accounts and reconciliation’s. The applications do not require any particular expertise. It only necessary for the user to export Reports or Ledger Account Transactions to an Excel spreadsheet, which then reorganizes the data in the required format without further intervention using customized Excel Macros. Some of our “what if” applications are particularly useful in forecasting trends and scenarios in cost and pricing. Prices for these applications vary but our rates are competitive and reasonable.
